Meluca Easter Giveaway 2026 – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

This promotion is conducted by Meluca Recycling Pty Ltd and Meluca Big Bins (a trading as division of Meluca Recycling Pty Ltd) (the Promoter), located at 81 Weerong Road, Drouin VIC 3818.

2. Promotion Period

The promotion commences upon publication and closes at 11:59pm (AEST) Wednesday 1 April 2026.
Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility

• Entry is open to Victoria, Australia residents only.
• Entrants must be 18 years or older, or have a parent or guardian (18+) accept the prize on their behalf.
• Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
• This promotion is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner.

4. How to Enter

During the promotion period, entrants must:

1. Follow or like the relevant social media page/s (Meluca Recycling or Meluca Big Bins)
2. Like the original promotional post
3. Tag at least one (1) friend in the comments (each tag = one entry)
4. Share the post to their story and tag the relevant page (optional bonus entry)

Additional conditions:

• Entries apply only to the page on which the entry is made.
• Participants may enter both promotions by completing the steps on both pages.
• Tagged accounts must be real individuals (not business, fake, or duplicate accounts).
• The Promoter may verify entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these Terms & Conditions.

5. Prize

• Two (2) prizes will be awarded:
  • One Easter hamper for Meluca Recycling entrants
  • One Easter hamper for Meluca Big Bins entrants
• Each hamper is valued at approximately $200 AUD and contains Easter-themed items and chocolates.

Prize conditions:

• Contents may vary from those pictured but will be of equal or greater value
• Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash
• The Promoter may substitute items with alternatives of equal or greater value if necessary

6. Winner Selection

• Two winners will be selected — one from each page.
• Winners will be selected at random via a fair electronic or manual draw.
• The draw will take place Thursday 2 April 2026.

7. Winner Notification

• Winners will be contacted via comment and/or direct message on the platform used to enter.
• Winners must respond within 24 hours to claim their prize.
• It is the entrant’s responsibility to monitor messages.

8. Prize Collection

Prize collection location: Meluca Recycling 81 Weerong Road, Drouin VIC 3818

Due to Easter business closure, collection will occur on the next available business day following Easter or by arrangement with the Promoter.

The winner must arrange collection within 3 business days of notification, otherwise the prize may be forfeited and redrawn.

9. Unclaimed Prize

If a winner does not respond within the required timeframe or fails to arrange collection, the Promoter may redraw the prize within 48 hours.

10. Social Media Disclaimer

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
Entrants release Facebook and Instagram from all liability and acknowledge that information is provided to the Promoter, not the platform.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected will be used solely to administer this promotion and will not be shared unless required by law.

12. General Conditions

The Promoter may:

• verify entries
• disqualify misleading or inappropriate entries
• disqualify entrants who tamper with the promotion
• modify, suspend or cancel the promotion if required due to unforeseen circumstances

13. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for:

• technical issues affecting entry
• lost or misdirected entries
• loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation or prize use

14. Scam Warning

The Promoter will never request payment or banking details to claim a prize.
Participants should only interact with official Meluca accounts.

15. Publicity

By accepting the prize, winners agree to the use of their name and/or image for promotional purposes without compensation.

16. Force Majeure

The Promoter is not liable for delays or failure to conduct the promotion due to events beyond its reasonable control.
